Hello Lise! These are fig leaves that I painted while living in Cyprus. I paint with acrylics and also incorporate some sand in the whites of the background pattern. I was on a roll with my fig leaves at during the years I lived there! I guess you can tell by the number of paintings I have done with this theme. Thank you for stopping by with your comment! Anne
